Tibetan Kitchen

What a treat! I took a friend here for the first time and was so impressed. The food was creative, subtle in it's flavour and local. Here they use local farmers for their stir fry dishes, curries without dairy or oil and the Moma - pan fried dumplings - that they make from scratch, even hand rolling out the dough. It was surprising to us, as we sat near the kitchen, the number of patrons that went to the kitchen door to thank Pemba for a great dinner - almost as if paying homage to a local treasure here in Victoria. Treat yourself (and a friend) to this restaurant who believes in supporting local farmers. The place is packed, the food fresh and the service is uniquely delightful.
