How it all came to be…

Saltwest Naturals was founded in March 2011 by Jessica & Jeff Abel. Early in that year we set out on the rugged pristine waters on the West Coast of Vancouver Island to harvest our first batch of seawater. Through countless experiments we developed many delicious recipes of infused flavours, earth and sea spice blends and smoked sea salts. We truly wanted to bring a new local food product to the table that would diversify what Vancouver Island had to offer. Now in our second year of operations we have opened the doors to offer you gourmet salt and peppercorn products from around the world. Our new line of products are selected only if they meet our highest standards. Organic and/or sustainability produced must be at the forefront of these selections to make the cut. It is important to us that they speak to you about our company’s love for natural quality food and the environment
