Buyer Beware, especially regarding online purchases. As soon as the newly arrived dress was taken off the hanger, beads started popping off. I immediately contacted the store regarding quality issues. I was told I had no redress. There was also a major sizing issue despite my having consulted in detail with a seasoned salesperson by phone prior to purchase. The Better Business Bureau advised me I had contacted the store within the appropriate time frame regarding defective merchandise but Grad Central did not respond to this. Finally I asked for 10% off a $523.00 gown to help offset re-modelling costs and the cost of re-attaching and anchoring bead work. They flatly refused. I only hope alterations do not run into the hundreds of dollars. Yes, i am unhappy.
