BUYER BEWARE - NO REFUNDS Last Friday we purchased a brand new Sweep n Groom power head model E1386 from Aerus Electrolux and paid the full retail price of $223.98. When we got home we checked the internet to ensure that we had paid a reasonable price. Unfortunately it appears we did not. The Amazon price for exactly the same power head is $83.98 Canadian (delivery and taxes included). I don't mind paying a premium to support a local business owner but over 2 times the price is not reasonable. We tried to return the power head to the store on Monday morning and was informed by the owner, Karim, that he has a NO REFUNDS return policy. He pointed out that this was written on the invoice. We check the invoice and yes it does say No Refunds. We did not even look at this at the time of purchase as the item was not on sale and Karim seemed to be a nice, fair, honest, local business owner. Hmm... I do not respect companies who refuse returns especially when they are made within one or two working days. I therefore encourage you to only support retailers who believe enough in their businesses, prices and products to accept returns.
