Candy is without a doubt, the best music supplier in south Vancouver island region. Paul and Chase consistently went above and beyond when the provided their services at my wedding. The lights, the sound, the music, and their awesome personalities made it a real pleasure working with them. These guys are real professionals!

I'm a photographer in Victoria and I've done many weddings with Candu Music over the years. I've always been very impressed by this company and I highly recommend them. If I hear that Candu is doing the music, I know my job will be easy, as people will be smiling, dancing and having fun, and Paul Watterson, the owner, will help me get the shots that I need. He is personable and professional. At a Candu event I got a shot of a bride doing a cartwheel! She was having such a good time that she just started twirling and leaping and dancing with everyone. She was very pleased with the pictures. (I provided the photos for the Candu website; check them out.) Paul works with me by making announcements for group shots like the cutting of the cake, the garter, the throwing of the bouquet and he lets me know when things are happening, like when the bridal party is entering the room, etc. He's done so many weddings that he really understands the sequence of events as each evening progresses, from the first cocktail to the last dance. He knows how to gently turn it up to get people dancing, and then he keeps them on the floor with perfectly timed songs, a driving beat, crisp, awesome speakers, an unbelievably atmospheric mood and his own interactive energy. I have seen him take it up, keep it there, take it down a little, then take it up to a higher level, then shut it down completely, and the crowd just goes crazy. Wow. He's good.
