During the season, Leon visits local farmers on a daily basis whenever possible, to personally select the best available produce for the store.The local season begins in April, with tomatoes and cucumbers from Sunwing farms. In June, the first fruits are harvested with strawberries being supplied from Oldfield orchards, cherries from slightly further afield and apricots, currants, peaches, blueberries and nectarines from the Okanagan.
