Eye Exams - Vision Test

People ages 19-64 should have the health of their eyes check every two years.  Did you know that during an exam health problems like diabetes, glaucoma and macular degeneration can be detected?

Seniors, ages 65+, have a part of your eye exam cost covered through your BC Medical…every year!  Take advantage and ensure that you are taking good care of your eyes.

It is sooooo important for children to have their eyes examined once a year starting at the age of 3.  Having them checked before starting school is key; many kids have a hard time learning to read and write simply because they can’t see well.  Don’t wait for them to tell you they have poor vision- they don’t have any idea most times as they have had nothing to compare their vision to. In the case of eye disorders,  catching them early in life is often the key to correction in many cases.  Oh, did we mention that it is FREE (on BC Med), once a year, until they turn 13 and then only a small fee of $20 ages 13-18?
