My husband and I have known Ron (the owner) at Applewood Antiques for many years. During this time, we have purchased some of the most wonderful items we have seen in Canada, the United States and Europe from him. Ron is extremely knowledgeable and is willing to share this knowledge with his clients (some dealers won't). He is passionate about antiques and manages to find exquisite pieces of furniture and smalls. We rarely leave the shop without a purchase (or three!) that delights us. This is quite a feat because we've been collecting for decades, so when something comes into our house, something has to leave. Aside from the wonderful quality and variety of goods in this store, Ron is very ethical and always guarantees his items. Overall, shopping at Applewood Antiques and doing business with Ron has always been a very positive and fun experience for us. We highly recommend you visit his store when you're in Victoria. We have to take a ferry to see him and it's always worth the trip.
