What is a filling? A filling is a dental way of restoring a tooth that has been damaged by decay back to its normal functions and shape. At Acucentre Dental Clinic, we will first remove the decayed tooth material along with cleaning the affected area to stop any further bacteria. From there, we will fill the cavity with a metal filling. By filling the tooth, the bacteria can no longer enter into the tooth.
